As a counselor, it is my pleasure to come alongside another person as he or she seeks to live well and love fully.  One of my greatest joys is the moment when a person begins to see himself clearly, and discovers that the lies he believed about himself are untrue; that what he thought was weak and broken about himself is actually strength; and that the thing he has most deeply longed for is actually possible.  Man, I love this job!

I am passionate about seeing marriages deepened, families strengthened; men and women freed from addiction, exhaustion, loneliness, and fear; and teens encouraged and challenged to live fully and freely through their adolescent years.  In my 7 years as a counselor, I have seen these things happen, and it is incredible!

I am a husband and father of 2 awesome little boys, and am constantly learning what it means to be a husband and dad.  We have lived in Manchester for just over 3 years, and are feeling right at home here.  I work as a Licensed Professional Counselor at New Hope Counseling Services in Chesterfield with an incredible team of men and women who are great at what they do.  You can meet the rest of the New Hope team at http://newhopecounseling.com.

I look forward to sharing a bit of what I've learned about people and their hearts and lives, and I also look forward to learning from you.  Change happens in relationship, in dialogue.  Every day I get to see change happen in the lives of the people I see and I get to be changed by these people.  I hope that this blog can be one more place where this reciprocal change can happen.
