Keith Schildroth has spent nearly all of his working life working at a daily newspaper.<br>He started at the age of 15, working as a copy boy in the sports department at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.<br>Schildroth worked at the Post part-time through high school and college. He also worked for the Post during his free time covering amateur, collegiate and professional sports. He specialized in soccer, golf, bowling, professional wrestling and sports obituaries.<br>He was hired full time at the Post in 1984 and worked on the National and International Desk. Schildroth joined the sports department in 1986.<br>Schildroth has also worked as a freelance writer for the Suburban Journals, Soccer America Magazine and Reuters News Service, covering the 1985 and 1987 World Series.<br>He has a Associate in Arts Degree in Communications from Florissant Valley Community College and he also attended SIU-Edwardsville.<br>He is a life long resident of North County. Schildroth proudly boasts he was raised in Dellwood and has continued by raising a family in Florissant.<br>Schildroth enjoys playing golf, refereeing soccer, cooking, history, politics and spending time with his four children, wife Mary and the family dog, Abbey.<br>He is also a member of the Florissant City Council.<br> <br>
