Thank you for considering my opinion. I am happy to share my experiences here on Patch.com. Environmental issues and the opportunity to understand our impact on the planet are a growing concern of mine. My environmental experiences primarily consist of new construction and other aspects of the built environment. That of course leads to many other environmental paths. As I comment here on Patch.com, I hope that you will share your experiences as well, and even better, let me know what you are involved in locally. I would love to learn from you and expand my understanding of what is important to you. So much of what makes sense environmentally is just what makes common sense. As a nation, we may have shifted to what is easy. Easy can be convenient, but not always appropriate. Let's discover ways to improve life for us and protect for others the planet that gives us so many resources to use responsibly.

Currently a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Gundaker, I have extended my understanding of the environmental issues regarding the real estate transaction with the EcoBroker certification (see EcoBroker.com). This gives me an opportunity to advise my clients about healthy and energy efficient features of a home they are considering to buy or to build. That takes them way beyond the typical location and price considerations they face in their decision. As an EcoBroker, I have been invited to see what many of the green home builders are involved in. I hope to share some of those projects with you as we discover how the decisions we make effect those around us.
