Town and Country police are alerting residents to recent thefts from cars, including car break-ins at the Town and Country Crossing shopping center.
The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) Town and Country police sent out an email alert warning residents of recent car break-ins, including cars parked at the Town and Country Crossing shopping center. In the email, police stated that small items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the 400 block of Cheshire Farm Lane between 9 p.m., March 27 and 9 a.m., March 28. In addition, police stated that two additional thefts took place from cars in the parking lot of Town and Country Crossing. One between 7 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. on March 20 and the second happened between 10 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. on March 26. Police said …

The new restaurant is expected to open in the winter of 2013 - 2014 in Town and Country Crossing.
Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant is set to move into Town and Country Crossing by the end of 2013 or beginning of 2014. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) Town and Country Planning Director Sharon Rothmel tells Patch, the restaurant will move into the space at 1000-1272 Town and Country Crossing Drive, near Clayton Road and Highway 141. Rothmel points out she had not even received plans for the restaurant yet and said this project is in its initial stages. Town and Country's annual Fire and Ice festival is Saturday evening. Come enjoy food, fun and end the night with the city's annual fireworks show!
Town and Country will celebrate it's annual Fourth of July event this weekend at Town and Country Crossing at the intersection of Woods Mill and Clayton roads. The Fire & Ice event takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Saturday, in the grassy area just west of the Target store. Residents, and those just looking for an evening of fun are invited to come out and enjoy food at the Taste of Town & Country area where local restaurants will sell food and drinks for dinner. New owner Ramco-Gershenson, Inc. wants the shopping plaza to be a night time destination, not just another neighborhood strip mall.
Town & Country Crossing has struggled to find retailers after opening more than four years ago. The plaza has space for 310,000 square feet of shopping--up to 44 stores and restaurants. Only 29 shops, restaurants and a bank are currently open. In December 2011, the complex was purchased by Michigan-based Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust for a reported $37.8 million. Three Dog Bakery opened in August 2010 and is located in Town and Country Crossing right next to the lake. It offers fresh baked dog treats that are all natural with no sugar and no artificial flavors. Staff makes the treats right there in the store, and when you walk in it smells like a real bakery. Starcrest Cleaners opened its Town and Country location in the fall of 2011. It's located next to The Bar Method and Mr. Goodcents. Town and Country's Ginger Bay Salon and Spa is named Salon of the Year by 'Salon Today' magazine.
Ginger Bay Salon and Spa owner Laura Ortmann shared the news on Facebook. Salon Today reportedly surprised Ortmann at the new Town and Country Crossing location to tell her that the salon was the grand prize winner of the Salons of the Year Competition. Her reaction was recorded and posted on YouTube. That video clip is included in this article. Five Guys Burgers and Fries moved out of this location near the lake in the Town and Country Crossing shopping center. Five Guys Burgers and Fries closed on Feb. 23. after reportedly being open in the shopping cener since November 2008. Check out the photos from Ginger Bay Salon and Spa grand opening. The salon recently opened in Town and Country Crossing.
As previously reported by Town and Country - Manchester Patch, Ginger Bay Salon and Spa is a locally owned, full-service salon that’s been in operation since 1991 with its original location in Kirkwood. The Town and Country Crossing location is the second location for owner, attorney Laura Ortmann. Ortmann purchased the Kirkwood location in 2008 and just opened the West County location.
