Hairdresser Indicted for Burglarizing Retirement Community Apartments

Town and Country Police said the woman stole $85,487 in jewelry, coins, sterling silver and other items in seven burglaries.

A former hairdresser for a retirement community was indicted last Wednesday by a St. Louis County grand jury on seven burglary charges after being accused of stealing. As previously reported by Patch, Town and Country Police said Kerri Spink, 39, stole items valued at a total of $85,487 from residents of Garden Villas Retirement Community, 13590 South Outer 40 Road in Town and Country. Spink, 39, of Imperial, faces six second-degree burglary charges, one first-degree burglary charge and three felony stealing charges. Police said Spink stole a master key to rooms in the facility and used the key to enter seven apartments. …

Manchester Men Indicted on Assaulting Officer, Stealing Charges

A St. Louis County grand jury determined the two men will stand trial for the alleged crimes.

Cody Coleman, 19, of the 600 block of Windingpath Lane in Manchester, was indicted for assaulting a law enforcement officer. Geoffry Gutmann, 19, also of the 600 block of Windingpath Lane, was indicted for felony stealing. Manchester Police said officers set up an undercover operation to recover stolen goods they believed were listed for sale on Craigslist. Man Stole $4,200 in Stereo Equipment With Fake Credit Card, Police Say

The man told police he got the card from someone who worked at one of the stereo equipment stores.

The following information was supplied by court documents. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. A man used a fake credit card to buy $4,182 worth of stereo equipment from stores in Manchester and South County, Manchester Police said. Erskine Yarbrough, of the 300 block of Fillmore Street in South St. Louis, was charged Monday with two counts of felony stealing. St. Louis County Police said Yarbrough bought a DVD receiver, two subwoofers and other stereo equipment from the South County Audio Express, 5616 South Lindbergh, in the Concord area, with a fraudulent prepaid credit card on Aug. 20. The equipment was valued at $2,180. Manchester Police said Yarbrough then used the same card on Aug. 21 to get $2,003 in stereo …

Woman Accused of Stealing From Former Employer

Manchester Police said the woman never returned a key after she was fired and used it to enter a dry cleaning business to steal cash.

A woman is accused of entering her former workplace and stealing $200 from a dry cleaning business in Manchester. Kaitlin Sitze, 22, of Woodlawn Terrace Court in Ellisville, was charged Friday with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor theft. Manchester Police said Sitze never returned a key to Dry Clean Spot, 14332 Manchester Road, after she was fired. She was captured on video entering the store using the key after hours between 5:45 p.m. Oct. 20 and 6 p.m. Oct. 22 and taking $200 from the cash register, police said. Courier Charged with Stealing Prescription Meds Bound for Care Centers

The drugs included pain and anxiety medications such as OxyContin, fentanyl, hydrocodone and alprazolam.

A courier stole a shipment of prescription medication he was supposed to deliver to health-care centers in Columbia and Osage Beach, Town and Country Police Department. The drugs included OxyContin, fentanyl, oxycodone, hydrocodone, alprazolam, Lorazepam and several other controlled substances. A police report stated Mota Ries, 35, a courier for a logistics company serving NHC Healthcare, was supposed to take prescription medication from the company’s Town and Country location to centers in mid-Missouri on April 11. When his supervisor passed him on Interstate 44, he called Mota to ask why he wasn’t going to Columbia first. West County Man Charged With Stalking Ex-Girlfriend, Stealing Dog

The man broke into his ex-girlfriend's apartment and took her dog, plus disobeyed a protection order, police said.

A West St. Louis County man was arraigned Tuesday in St. Charles County Circuit Court on charges related to harassing a St. Peters woman. Theodore Lee Nance, 28, of the 1200 block of Orchard Village, is charged with first-degree burglary, aggravated stalking, stealing an animal and four counts of violating a protection order. According to a St. Peters Police report, Nance entered his ex-girlfriend’s apartment while her roommate was home Oct. 18 and took her dog. Police said he kept the dog for three weeks until police located the dog at his home on the outskirts of Manchester. Woman Stealing From Businesses, Police Warn

Town and Country police warn to watch for Shelia Kirkendall. They say she is walking into businesses and stealing from unsuspecting employees.

Town and Country police  are warning residents and local businesses to be on the look out for Shelia Kirkendall, 45.  Captain Gary Hoelzer stated in an email to Town and Country - Manchester Patch that Kirkendall isa suspect in a number of thefts that happened this week at 670 Mason Ridge Centre. The office building is located behind the AAA building on North Forty Drive, just east of Mason Road. Hoelzer stated that Kirkendall enters office buildings and steals wallets from women’s purses. If she is confronted she makes up an excuse and leaves the building.  Hoelzer said Kirkendall has more than 40 arrests for stealing and 17 convictions. Two Men Wanted For Early Morning Theft From Walmart

Police are searching for two men who walked out of the Manchester Highlands Walmart early Wednesday morning with two television sets.

Police are searching for two men Wednesday morning who put two 27-inch television sets in a shopping cart at the Manchester Highlands Walmart and walked out of the store.  Manchester Police Captain Charles Hunn tells Town and Country - Manchester Patch that the crime happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at the store located across the street from the Manchester Police Department. "This was not an armed robbery. There were no weapons, no physical contact, nobody hit by a car. The Ferguson man was charged Friday with the two-year-old Town and Country burglary.

A Ferguson man was charged Friday with burglarizing a Town and Country home on July 2, 2010. Town and Country Police said in a report that Jesse R. Robinson Jr., 38, of the 1000 block of Forestwood Drive in Ferguson, broke into a home July 2, 2010 in the 1000 block of Tidewater Place Court and stole items valued at more than $7,000. Police said he took a grill, television and household fixtures. According to the report, DNA recovered inside the residence was consistent with Robinson’s DNA. Bond was set at $20,000. Feb 29: 300 block of Morewood Drive Stealing: A resident chased a male after he was reportedly spotted rummaging through a neighbors vehicle.  After the chase, the resident called police who were able to locate the suspicious male.
