Clayton Road Project Update, Sidewalk Demolition Should Not Impact Traffic
Demolition has begun in front of the firehouse at Mason and Clayton roads in Town and Country.
Traffic is not expected to be impacted this week by the demolition taking place in front of the firehouse at Mason and Clayton roads, Department of Public Works Director Craig Wilde wrote in an email. Wilde released the following email update on the Clayton Road Trail Project. "We have started the demolition of the existing sidewalk in front of the firehouse. Ameren UE has also had some crews on site to excavate for two power pole relocations just west of Mason Road. Omni Tree Service continues to work on the removal of the existing vegetation. I do not anticipate any impact on road traffic in the next week or so, but sections of the walkway will be out of service. These areas will be extensive and will be marked as necessary. Please be …
