Traffic Alert: Clayton Road Resurfacing Underway, Expect Delays

Resurfacing has begun on Clayton Road as part of Town and Country's new trail and road resurfacing project. This week crews work on trail landscaping and roadway paving.

UPDATED: 10:10 a.m. Tuesday- Town and Country Department of Public Works Director Craig Wilde tells Patch the road resurfacing is taking place on Clayton Road between Oak Springs and Woods Mill roads from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. "That's going to be subject to change based on what we see with the traffic," Wilde said. Drivers may experience traffic delays in those immediate areas through the end of next week as road crews work. Wilde said night paving is an option, but crews are not working at night at this time. This week crews are coldmilling the surface of Clayton road, preparing it for the overlay. "As long as the weather holds out for us, we're working every day," Wilde tells Patch.
