Westminster Christian Academy coaches David Klyn and Steve Stipanovich are both leaving their coaching positions with the school, according to Athletic Director Todd Zell.

According to school staff, Westminster basketball coaches David Klyn and Steve Stipanovich both decided to leave their coaching positions with the school. Parents were alerted to the decisions in an email sent out by Westminster Athletic Director Todd Zell around 9 a.m. Monday. Zell said both men decided to step down from the coaching positions to "pursue the next chapter of their lives." Following is the email sent to parents Monday. Town and Country's Westminster Christian Academy announced Wednesday that Tom Stoner will serve as the new head of school beginning in the 2013-2014 school year. Stoner will replace current Head of School Jim Marsh. As previously reported by Patch, Marsh served as Westminster's head of school for 28 years and is leaving that position after this school year. The all-day event moves from CBC to DeSmet this year. Parkway South and Westminster are both participating.
The high-flying St. Joe Angels basketball team will highlight the Prepcast Elite V basketball shootout January 5 at DeSmet. Previous shootouts have been held at CBC.
