Friday wad the last day of Edoardo Pricolo's internship with the West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce. He will return home to Italy to resume his studies of business.
West St. Louis County residents said ciao as hello to Edoardo Pricolo earlier this summer and now also as goodbye. Patch readers first learned in July about Pricolo's special summer internship for the West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce. (See previous article: Student from Italy Serves as Local Chamber Intern) Pricolo is a 19-year-old college student studying economics and management at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. His internship was arranged through Cultural Homestay International. Manchester's director of finance and Rockwood's former superintendent are both nominated for awards by the West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce.
Manchester residents and business professionals are being recognized for their outstanding qualities. The West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce has selected its nominees for Business Person of the Year, Business of the Year and the Don Essen Heart of the Chamber award. The Don Essen award is given for an "active member that attends chamber functions who has served on a committee and consistently displays a service above "self" attitude within the chamber."
