Ask the Patch Pro: Seeking Local Dentists

Patch is looking for experts who can talk teeth and offer their expertise this week.

Rombach Farms Prepares for a Busy Month

Marcia Rombach explains some of the history and hard work that go into making the pumpkin stand a popular fall destination.

The Rombach Farms Pumpkin Patch officially opened last weekend and on Wednesday the farm was bustling with employees hauling pumpkins and arranging displays.  One of those hustling was Marcia Rombach, the wife of Norman "Chip" Rombach. Chesterfield Patch explored this patch of a different nature with her as she explained the history of the farm and some of what it takes to make the operation a success each year.  Good People Having hard-working, handy, dependable employees is a big part of what has made the farm a tradition for so many St. Louis families.  "Everybody that's here has been with us for 30 years, you know," Rombach said. Randall's Wine and Spirits Opens in Manchester

Randall's Wine and Spirits opened next to Weekends Only. It offers an elaborate selection of wine, liquor and much more.

Randall's Wine and Spirits recently opened its fourth location right next door to Weekends Only in the Manchester Highlands Shopping Complex.  (Sign up here for the FREE Patch Newsletter, including Breaking News Alerts.) The store opened in late August at 14201 Manchester Road, which is the former Basset Furniture Store.  "This is their fourth store in the metropolitan area. We're happy that they've selected Manchester for their fourth store location," Franz Kraintz, Manchester's director of planning, zoning and economic development, tells Patch. Health Care Service Expands in Manchester

Home Helpers just expanded its only St. Louis area location in Manchester. The company provides at-home health care services.

Home Helpers recently moved locations in Manchester and is now located just off Manchester Road at 115 Woods Mill Road behind Roy's Automotive. Previously located on Enchanted Parkway in Manchester, Home Helpers Director of Management Nicole Shelledy tells Town and Country - Manchester Patch the business moved locations to expand. "The growth of the the business, we need more space," Shelledy explained. She said Home Helpers is a home health care company that provides in-home care, typically to older adults who are recuperating from a surgery and/or an illness.
