I don't see the benefit of two separate checking accounts, just more fees for the bank and more work for you and your partner. As for the phone - sounds to me like more of an expense again. Even if Charter doesn't charge a fee for this, if you're using a cell as a business phone why would you want it to ring to your home? New Dress Rental Shop Now Open in Manchester

One Night Stand is a new West St. Louis County dress rental shop offering party and cocktail dress rentals, accessories, shoes and a whole lot more!

One Night Stand officially opened at its Manchester location this weekend. It celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) It's located in one of the Victorian style homes just southwest of the Manchester Road and Route 141 intersection at 121 Old Meramec Station Road. The store, owned by Ballwin native Jennifer Kohm, offers party and cocktail dress rental, accessories, shoes, tights and more. Kohm tells Patch they have everything to complete your "night out" ensemble. The store also offers a prom dress selection. Nearly Half of Americans Begin Holiday Shopping Before Halloween, What About You?

The National Retail Federation released its annual holiday shopping forecast. Americans are shopping earlier than ever, the survey shows, which could lead to a 4.1 percent increase in national sales.

Accustomed to pinching pennies thanks to years of economic downturn, holiday shoppers this year will look for ways to cut corners, comparative  shop online and even plan to travel less, if not at all, the National Retail Federation said in its annual shopping forecast for the Christmas season. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) On average, the NRF expects holiday consumers to spend $749.51 on holiday gifts, decor, greeting cards and more in 2012. That's more than the $740.57 shoppers actually spent in 2011. And before you think Patch is reporting on the holiday season, think again. Randall's Wine and Spirits Opens in Manchester

Randall's Wine and Spirits opened next to Weekends Only. It offers an elaborate selection of wine, liquor and much more.

Randall's Wine and Spirits recently opened its fourth location right next door to Weekends Only in the Manchester Highlands Shopping Complex.  (Sign up here for the FREE Patch Newsletter, including Breaking News Alerts.) The store opened in late August at 14201 Manchester Road, which is the former Basset Furniture Store.  "This is their fourth store in the metropolitan area. Health Care Service Expands in Manchester

Home Helpers just expanded its only St. Louis area location in Manchester. The company provides at-home health care services.

Home Helpers recently moved locations in Manchester and is now located just off Manchester Road at 115 Woods Mill Road behind Roy's Automotive. Previously located on Enchanted Parkway in Manchester, Home Helpers Director of Management Nicole Shelledy tells Town and Country - Manchester Patch the business moved locations to expand. Manchester Businessman Named Young Entrepreneur of The Year

Owner of Manchester's Jeff Computers, Jeff Minnis, is named 2012 Young Entrepreneur of the Year by SBA.

Jeff Minnis, owner of Jeff Computers in Manchester, was named 2012's Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the St. Louis District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), according to a news release.  "We were happy to receive the honor and really excited about all the things we are going to be doing this year, including events with the small business week," Minnis tells Town and Country - Manchester Patch. "It talks about our business and how we are always trying and taking care of our customers to provide great service and help them with as many things as possible." Facebook Connects Businesses with Employees

More Facebook users, including those in Town and Country and Manchester, are turning to their social network to find jobs or help their companies recruit workers.

Some people may dismiss Facebook as an idle chat room for teens, but according to recent statistics, the average Facebook user is 33, with over half of all users over the age of 35. Facebook is growing up and people are now turning to the social networking site for more than just gossip and photo sharing. They’re using it for business. A recent post by Facebook user Jennifer Labit asked her 12,218 followers if they knew of a person she was looking for, a man that used to manage a now closed Starbucks. She had a name, but no contact information. She also had a job she wanted to offer him, if she could just find him.
