New Restaurant, Online Ticket Payment Before Aldermen Monday

Town and Country aldermen discuss outdoor seating for a new restaurant coming to Town and Country Crossing, plus could approve online traffic ticket payments Monday night. View full agenda here.

The Town and Country Board of Aldermen meets Monday night.  Aldermen are set to discuss more plans, including the outside seating/patio plans, for Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant. The new restaurant is set to move into the Town and Country Crossing shopping center this fall. Aldermen will also likely vote on the city beginning a program where it would accept payments of fees for traffic tickets, court costs and other related matters online. If passed by aldermen, the city would enter into an agreement with TrafficPayment.com. As previously reported by Patch, City Financial Director Betty Cotner said it would help the city collect more fees by making it easier for people to pay tickets. No word yet on when the online service would be …

Manchester's Marshall's Bistro Celebrates Opening With Ribbon Cutting

Marshall's Bistro restaurant in Manchester celebrated being open for almost one month with a ribbon cutting this week.

The ribbon cutting was held Tuesday at Marshall's Bistro. The new restaurant is in the old Panda Palace buidling at 17 Nationalway Shopping Center in Manchester. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and even offers live music on the weekends. After a brief delay, the eatery opened in early March. Community members gathered Tuesday for the official ribbon cutting ceremony. Have You Tried Manchester's Hibachi Grill?

Hibachi Grill's owner said the restaurant is somewhat hard to spot, but once customers find it, they can't believe the selection of food for the price.

Have you visited Hibachi Grill in Manchester? Located at 1282 Old Orchard Center in Manchester, it's in the strip mall behind Starbucks and Burger King on Manchester Road. Owner Chun Yang tells Patch that the restaurant, which offers a buffet, made-to-order hibachi-style meals and sushi made fresh throughout the day, has been open in this location since May, 2012. However, Yang said the location has been the eatery's greatest challenge since it's back behind other businesses. "It's hard to find us," Yang explained. "It's pretty bad. Traffic is too fast. Town and Country Native is New Owner of O'Leary's Restaurant

Kyle Hamacher says he is good in the kitchen, good behind the bar and loves talking with people. He plans to bring a youthful outlook to the well-known restaurant.

As he takes over the reins of O'Leary's Restaurant, 3828 South Lindbergh Blvd., Sunset Hills, Town and Country native Kyle Hamacher, 24, is finding sleep to be a precious commodity. But he's in his element and he thinks his youth works to his benefit. "Being younger means I can do the hours," Hamacher said. "So I think my youth is an advantage. I can relate to a younger crowd." A sewer pipe backup delayed last week's opening, but Marshall's Bistro opens for dinner Wednesday at the old Panda Palace location.

After a one-week delay due to a sewer pipe backup, Marshall's Bistro - a new Manchester restaurant - is set to open around 5 p.m. Wednesday at the former Panda Palace location in Manchester. Sewer Backup Delays Marshall's Bistro Opening in Manchester

Marshall's Bistro staff is cleaning up after a sewer backed up into the restaurant, but plan to have the new eatery open Wednesday, March 6.

Marshall's Bistro—a new restaurant opening in the former Panda Palace location - has delayed its grand opening one week due to a sewer backup. As previously reported by Patch, the new restaurant which features dishes by chef Michael Ryan, executive chef at Lola in St. Louis, was set to open this Wednesday, but the backup delayed those plans. New Leaf Cafe Opens in Town and Country

The new eatery opened inside the 777 building on Ballas Road near Highway 40.

Holly Kea-House and her husband Lonnie House opened New Leaf Cafe at 777 South New Ballas Road, Suite 2, on Dec. 10. Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant Coming to Town and Country

The new restaurant is expected to open in the winter of 2013 - 2014 in Town and Country Crossing.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant is set to move into Town and Country Crossing by the end of 2013 or beginning of 2014. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) Town and Country Planning Director Sharon Rothmel tells Patch, the restaurant will move into the space at 1000-1272 Town and Country Crossing Drive, near Clayton Road and Highway 141.
