Marshall's Bistro Opens Wednesday in Former Panda Palace Location

Jim and Greg Marshall are opening Wednesday; they say it's one of the ways they're supporting their 81-year-old father who has Alzheimer's.

Marshall's Bistro—a new restaurant featuring comfort food like spaghetti and meatballs, lamb sliders, braised short ribs and bread pudding—opens Wednesday in the location formerly occupied by Panda Palace. The new restaurant features dishes by chef Michael Ryan, executive chef at Lola in St. Louis, with small plates in the $8 to $10 range; entrees from $17 to $22; and pizzas from the Marshall brothers, who used to own Leaning Tower of Pizza at Grand and Bates in St. Louis before it closed years ago. Jim Marshall said he and his brother Gregg started out looking for smaller places, but the Panda Palace location had been vacant since September or October.
