Traffic will be able to access downtown for Friday's Cardinal NCLS playoff game. Two lanes on eastbound Highway 40 will be open for tonight’s game, but the 14th Street ramp is closed.
The Missouri Department of Transportation is advising drivers of lane and ramp closures for Friday night's St. Louis Cardinals NLCS game. Two lanes of eastbound Highway 40 will be open, along with the 6th and 11th Street ramps. However, the 14th Street ramp is closed Friday and all weekend. A thunderstorm warning is in effect for St. Charles, St. Louis and Jefferson counties, according to the National Weather Service. The storms are headed east toward St. Louis City where the St. Louis Cardinals are playing in the NLCS.
UPDATE: The severe thunderstorm warning for St. Charles, St. Louis and Jefferson counties has been extended until 6:15 p.m. and also now includes St. Louis City. The tornado warning for St. Charles County has been allowed to expire. The counties of St. Charles, St. Louis and Jefferson are under a severe thunderstorm warning until 5:45 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. A tornado warning is in effect for north-central St. Charles county until 5:30 p.m. The storm, which is moving east at about 40 m.p.h, is capable of heavy rains, damaging winds and potential rotation.
