Mobile Meth Lab Busted by Manchester Police

Manchester police say a K-9 was called in and two people were arrested in connection to the mobile meth found in the back of a car.

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. According to a Manchester Police Department spokesperson, the mobile meth lab landed a 31-year-old female and 34-year-male in police custody after they were pulled over and the man fled on foot. Investigators tell Town and Country-Manchester Patch they got the call of a "suspicious vehicle" traveling from the Ellisville area on August 11. Mobile Couponing Craze Hits Close to Home

Several local businesses are offering discounts you can access and redeem directly from your mobile device.

People in the St. Louis area are pretty bargain-savvy, according to a study released in February by Coupons.com. In fact, St. Louis ranked in the top 3 of the country’s Top 25 Most Frugal Cities of 2011. The city was also noted for using its technological prowess to its financial advantage. “St. Louis, Tampa, Oklahoma City and Cincinnati rounded out the top five cities using mobile apps to access, browse, print and save coupons to store loyalty cards,” Coupons.com said in a press release. St. Louis County resident Amanda Schweiger said she doesn't use coupons because she can't remember to bring them when she goes out. Go Mobile With New Library App

St. Louis County Library users now can log into their accounts and make requests from on-the-go with a new smartphone application launched this week. Downloading eMedia got easier, too.

By bookmarking a new mobile application, St. Louis County Library users now can keep their library needs at their fingertips wherever they are. SLCL Mobile, the new application launched by St. Louis County Library staffers this week, works on all smartphones, including Android, iPhone and Blackberry. The app is free and available in the iTunes store and Android Market. A direct link to the app can be found by clicking here.
