Two key cogs in the Cadet football program's ascent in recent years were front and center for the festivities. Aarion Penton was among the first to fax in his letter of intent to the University of Missouri football program early Wednesday. CBC Celebrates Conference Title On De Smet Turf

The Cadets played like the number one team in the state with a decisive win on the road against the Spartans.

"They know what they want, they're pretty hungry this year," Cadets Head Coach Scott Pingel said. The hungriest player on the field may have been CBC Running Back Jonathan Parker, who rushed 15 times for 118 yards and accounted for 4 touchdowns on the evening.  Parker, who gave a verbal pledge to play college football at Tulsa last month, dropped a wide open pass on a halfback option in the first quarter, but darted around Spartan defenders on the very next play for a 35 yard touchdown.  After the teams traded punts, a De Smet drive deep into CBC …

CBC Blows Past De Smet With Spectacular Second Half

CBC scores touchdowns on seven straight possessions for a big win over rival De Smet, 52-22.

That was kind of our plan, and it worked.” Boy did it ever, as CBC totaled 569 yards of offense against a De Smet defense that had stifled the Hazelwood Central and Hazelwood East offenses it had seen earlier this season. Things didn’t start out that way as CBC actually trailed De Smet, 14-3, until…
