Town and Country police are investigating after someone entered a home during the daytime hours and reportedly stole the jewelry and other items.

Town and Country police are investigating after numerous pieces of jewelry and a silver serving set were reportedly stolen from a home. In an email, police stated that between between 9:50 a.m. and 3 p.m., April 8, the items were stolen from home in the 1500 block of Mason Hill Court. Police are investigating after a back door was forced open and jewelry was stolen from a Town and Country home.

Police are searching for suspects after a burglary in the 1000 block of Wellington Terrace in Town and Country, located off Clayton Road east of Weidman Road. Authorities stated in an email that the crime occurred between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Friday, March 1. According to investigators, a rear door was forced open and that is how access was gained to the home. Jewelry was stolen from the master bedroom. Jahmil Perkins is being held in St. Louis County jail on a $20,000 bond.
The following information was supplied by court documents. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. Manchester police found a Ballwin man sold several items stolen in a burglary, an officer said. Jahmil Perkins, 35, of the 200 block of Solon Drive in Ballwin, was charged Feb. 8 with receiving stolen property. Manchester Police said Perkins sold jewelry, including silver chains, which were stolen from a home in Manchester during a recent burglary. Police said he sold the jewelry at a store at 14360 Manchester Road. Perkins told police the jewelry belonged to his family. Perkins was being held at St. Louis County jail Friday. Police are warning residents of another home burglary. Jewelry was stolen during the hours when many residents are away at work.
The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department. According to an email alert sent out by police, a home in the 100 block of Bon Chateau Drive, near Ladue and Babler roads, was burglarized between 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Forced entry was made into the home through a rear sliding glass door, police stated in the email. The house reportedly has an alarm, but it was not set by the resident. Police said the second time Manchester Coin and Jewelry on Manchester Road was broken into, the thief made of with $3,000 in stolen goods, but was later arrested.

Police responded to a business burglar alarm at Manchester Coin and Jewelry, 14360 Manchester Road, on May 20 and found the back doors to the business were pried open. This was the second time police responded to the burglar alarm at this business in two days. They had responded on May 18, but at that time it appeared nothing had been stolen. One man is in jail after stealing from two Manchester homes earlier this month, according to police.

Manchester police tell Patch one man is in jail after being arrested in connection to two burglaries in the 300 block of Big Bend Crossing on May 11. A gun and several pieces of jewelry were stolen from one home while the resident was gone. Police said that resident returned home to find the front door of the home forced open and called police.
