Two vehicles were involved in this crash at Route 141 and Highway 40 Monday afternoon. One driver had to be extricated from their car.
Town and Country police and West County EMS and Fire Protection District rescue crews responded to the accident at Route 141 and Highway 40 around 1 p.m. Monday. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) No word yet on exactly how the crash happened, but one car struck a utility pole head on at the corner of the Highway 40 entrance ramp and South Outer 40 Road. Deputy Chief Tim Dorsey tells Patch they got the call just before 1 p.m. Two SUVs were involved in the accident. The only person in each vehicle was the driver. A man was reportedly struck by a car while riding his bike through the Barretts Elementary School parking lot. He reportedly suffered head injures that are not life threatening.

Rescue workers said one woman was seriously injured in the three-car crash at Manchester and Sulphur Spring roads.
West County EMS and Fire Protection District crews and Manchester police responded to the crash at the intersection of Manchester and Sulphur Spring roads just before 9:20 a.m. Thursday. "The person was unconscious, I believe, when we arrived," Minda said. He said that woman and another driver were both taken to Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur. A third female driver refused treatment.

Emergency crews responded to the crash at Dougherty Ferry and Carman roads Tuesday night. One car caught fire and two people were hospitalized.
West County EMS and Fire Protection District crews responded to the crash at Dougherty Ferry and Carman roads, just on the outskirts of Manchester, around 9:51 p.m. Tuesday. Manchester police arrived on the scene, but realized the crash was in unincorporated St. Louis County, so St. Louis County Police handled the accident. Rescue crews were called to the scene of a crash Monday in Town and Country where one person was extricated and five people were taken to the hospital.
Rescue crews were called to the scene of a crash Monday in Town and Country where one person was extricated from a car and five people were taken to the hospital. According to West County EMS and Fire Protection District spokesperson Kim Bacon, the call came in around 12:30 p.m. Monday of the crash at 3015 North Ballas Rd. Numerous rescue crews responded to the scene. One person was trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated. Town and Country police also responded to the crash. Captain Gary Hoezler said one vehicle heading northbound on Ballas Road ran a red light and struck another vehicle that was heading southbound on Ballas Road making a left turn onto eastbound Highway 40.
