Manchester police are investigating reports of a missing gun and $1,650 in clothing that was reportedly stolen from a local business.
The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. Police tell Patch they turned their case into prosecutors shortly after the December incident and prosecutors decided no criminal charges would be filed.
Manchester police tell Patch prosecutors decided not to file charges against the 19-year-old Webster Groves man who prompted four Parkway schools to go into "lockout" mode Dec. 17 while police searched nearby woods for the teen who posessed a loaded shotgun. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) No one was injured during the incident and the teen finally surrendered peacefully to authorities. UPDATED: 7:05 p.m., Friday- St. Louis County police tell Patch they are investigating after a man broke out a gun to apparently break up a fight in the middle of traffic at the intersection of Highway 141 and Big Bend Road Friday afternoon. St. Louis County Police Officer Randy Vaughn tells Patch police got the call around 3 p.m. Friday of a road rage incident at the intersection.
