Theft Tops Recent Manchester Crime

Manchester police are investigating reports of recents thefts.

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. March 25: 700 block Winding Bend Lane Stealing: Police received a report of a GPS being stolen overnight from an unlocked car. March 22: 14400 block Andersohn Drive Stealing: One person was arrested for allegedly attempting to steal several items worth $225 from the Manchester Kohl's store. Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to contact the Manchester Police Department at 636-527-9200. Stolen GPS, Cell Phones Found in Creek by Resident

Manchester police are looking for the rightful owners after the electronics were found and turned in to authorities.

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. Jan. 8: 300 block Spring Meadows Drive Lost & Found: A resident turned in to police several GPS devices and cell phones that were found in a creek. Police said some were under ice. Investigators are now searching for the rightful owners of the electronics. Police tell Patch the items were stolen from cars outside the Manchester city limits in St. Louis County. Some items, including two Tom Tom GPS have been returned to their owners. The case is still under investigation. Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to contact…

Thefts Prompt Town and Country Police Warning

The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department.

Thefts from cars this week, prompt Town and Country Police to once again warn residents to lock their doors. Captain Gary Hoelzer said in a news release that between 8 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. Monday a theft occurred in a church parking lot in 12900 block of Ladue Road. Hoelzer stated someone broke out the passenger side window of a car parked in the lot and stole a GPS that was mounted on the windshield. Hoelzer said that during the same time frame, another vehicle was broken into in the same manner in the 14300 block of South Outer 40 Road. That vehicle was also parked in a lot and a GPS unit was also taken from the windshield. Hoelzer said police are searching for several individuals for similar crimes in the area.
