Police were called after suspected thefts at Walmart and a local gas station.
The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. Oct. 8: 200 block Highlands Boulevard Drive Stealing: One person was arrested after police said the subject stole items totaling $37.50 from the Manchester Highlands Walmart. Oct. 5: 800 block Meramec Station Road Theft: Police said a driver left a local gas station without paying for fuel. The license plate was used to identify the driver, who was contacted by police and returned to the gas station to pay restitution. Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to contact the Manchester Police Department at 636-527-9200. …

In fact, the per-gallon price has hit its lowest point this year—on average, about $3.10 per gallon in the St. Louis area, including in Manchester and Town and Country.
