TRAFFIC ALERT: Road Closed For Work in Manchester This Weekend

Drivers will be detoured when Enchanted Parkway in Manchester closes from Howard George Drive to Manchester Road. The closure is set to begin around 9 p.m. Friday and last all weekend.

Labor Day Holiday: MoDOT Work Halts Between Friday at Noon to Tuesday at 9 AM

All lanes of eastbound I-64 double-deck structure to close Thursday night.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will close all lanes of eastbound Interstate 64 double-deck structure Thursday night to work on expansion joints under the bridge. All lanes and ramps will close on eastbound I-64 downtown between Jefferson and the Poplar Street Bridge starting at 8:30 p.m., Thursday. Ramps from Forest Park, Ewing and Pine Street to eastbound I-64 will also be closed. One lane will be open by 5 a.m., Friday, with all eastbound lanes open by noon. MoDOT will suspend all construction in all work zones Friday at noon for the Labor Day holiday. Some permanent work zones will remain in place, but work will not resume until Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

TRAFFIC ALERT: Route 141 Lanes Open, But Parkway Detour Tuesday

MoDOT is opening lanes on Route 141 in West County between St. Luke's Hospital and Olive Boulevard Monday, but Parkway students will take a detour Tuesday when classes start.

The Missouri Department of Transportation sent out the traffic alert in a news release Monday. (Sign up here for the FREE Patch Newsletter, including Breaking News Alerts.) Route 141 lanes are opening Monday afternoon in both directions between between St. Luke's Hospital and Olive Boulevard in West County. Lanes are set to open between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.  Meanwhile, Parkway Central students should plan on taking a detour when school starts Tuesday. Woods Mill Road between Parkway Central and St. Lukes will remain closed for two more weeks, according to MoDOT. The school can be accessed by taking Route 141 north to Olive Boulevard, then taking a left onto Olive and another left onto Woods Mill Road (Old Route 141). More details on …

Route 141 Traffic Down to One Lane South of Parkway

MoDOT has taken the stretch of Route 141 between Parkway Central High School and St. Luke's Hospital down to one lane.

The Missouri Department of Transportation said in a news release that although much of the new Route 141 opened this weekend, drivers can expect continued lane restrictions through the remainder of the project.  (Sign up here for the FREE Patch Newsletter, including Breaking News Alerts.) Currently, the Town and Country stretch of Route 141 between Parkway Central High School and St. Luke's Hospital is reduced to one lane and these restrictions are expected to last less than one month. Thousands Celebrate Opening of Route 141 and Page-Olive Connector

Families, dogs, runners, bicyclists, rollerbladers and proud government and traffic officials all enjoyed the completion of this major road project. Have you seen it yet?

The new Route 141 through West County and the Page-Olive Connector are now open to traffic. Thousands of walkers, runners, bicyclists and rollerbladers came out on a hot, sunny Saturday morning to celebrate the opening of the Route 141 and Page-Olive Connector with traffic-free access to the road. Traffic Ahead: I-64 Lanes Closed Downtown, Closures on I-70

The lanes will be closed throughout the weekend.

In St. Louis City, two eastbound lanes on Interstate 64 at 11th Street and the exit ramp will be closed this weekend. The lane closures will start at 7:30 p.m., Friday and will occur throughout the weekend until 5 a.m., Monday. Motorists are urged to use the 6th Street or 14th Street exit ramps on I-64. On I-70, two westbound reversible lanes will close starting at 7 p.m., Friday throughout the weekend until 5 a.m., Monday. Crews will repair the barrier wall in this area. Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

St. Louis Regional Work Zones for February 23-29

Potholes will be fixed around St. Louis this week.

Pothole repairs this week Maintenance crews will perform pothole repairs and bridge cleaning this week throughout the St. Louis area. Motorists are urged to watch out for MoDOT workers during moving operations. Ramp to Madison is now open In St. Louis City, the ramp from westbound I-70 to Madison is now open after being closed for one week. Blanchette Bridge work continues In St. Charles County, work on the eastbound I-70 Blanchette Missouri River Bridge continues overnight on Sundays through Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. until late March. The work is being done to move fiber optic cable from the westbound bridge to the eastbound bridge to prepare for the upcoming major construction scheduled on the westbound I-70 Blanchette Bridge.   …

The Missouri Department of Transportation  and its contractor, Fred Weber Inc., will reopen the closed portion of Ladue Road east of the new lanes of Route 141 before evening rush hour on Thursday, Dec. 1, weather permitting. Three More Weeks of Construction on Woods Mill, Hwy 141 and Ladue Road

If all goes as planned, three big traffic shifts happen Nov. 22.

In three weeks, on Nov. 22, anyone who drives Woods Mill-Highway 141 between Conway Road and Olive Boulevard, or Ladue Road at the 141 intersection should see a change, and feel relief that heavy construction may be over. The Missouri Department of Transportaion (MoDOT) believes new bypasses and links among the old and new roads will open up for traffic.  “In a perfect world, at the exact same time,” according to MoDOT Resident Engineer Jesse Jonas, three things will happen Nov. 22—a Tuesday. “This is where it gets crazy. A lot happens then,”  Jonas said. When those three things happen, traffic will be in the configuration it will be in for most of the duration of the rest of the project.
