Whiskey Tasting At Work Leads to Fourth DWI for West County Man, Police Say

Manchester Police said officers pulled Michael James Fumo III over for driving 19 mph over the speed limit and found that he'd been drinking.

A West County man faces his fourth driving while intoxicated charge after Manchester Police pulled him over for driving 19 mph over the speed limit. Man Who Caused Near-Collision Collects Fifth Impaired Driving Charge

Court documents indicated Todd R. Rinklin had an additional arrest April 1 on a possible DWI, which would give him six impaired driving charges.

A Des Peres man faces his fifth charge for driving under the influence of alcohol after being pulled over by St. Louis County Police on the outskirts of Manchester. Rinklin, 44, of the 12700 block of Wynfield Pines Court in Des Peres, was charged April 10 with driving while intoxicated as a chronic offender. He has four previous alcohol-related driving convictions and one additional arrest. Woman Faces Third DWI Charge After Stop In Town and Country

Police said Michelle N. Adams was weaving in her lane on Highway 141 near Interstate 64 when she was pulled over.

A St. Charles woman faces her third driving while intoxicated charge after she was pulled over on Highway 141 at Interstate 64. Michelle N. Adams, 23, of the 2500 block of Leonard Drive in St. Charles, was charged Wednesday with DWI as a persistent offender, a class D felony. She has two previous DWI convictions. Town and Country Police said an officer pulled Adams over at 2:13 a.m. Aug. 26 after seeing her weave onto a shoulder, drive on a white lane line and change lanes without signaling. After pulling her car over, the officer reported Adams smelled like alcohol, and had watery and bloodshot eyes. According to the police report, Adams admitted drinking and did poorly on a sobriety test. A Breathalyzer test indicated her blood-alcohol …

St. Louis County DWI Crackdown Results

Here are the results from the Missouri State Highway Patrol's recent DWI saturation in St. Louis County. It focused on finding drunk drivers.

Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) officers released the results in of the crackdown in a news release. Four Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers conducted the enforcement operation on Friday, March 15 in St. Louis County. According to the recent news release, the eight-hour operation netted the following results.

Town and Country Woman Allegedly Weaving on I-270 In DWI Stop, Police Say

If convicted, the charge would be the woman's third alcohol-related driving incident since 2003.

Town and Country Police said Derouin’s car was swerving between two lanes at about 1:24 a.m. July 8 on Interstate 270 at Clayton Road. West County Man Faces Felony DWI Charge

St. Louis County Police said the man was driving drunk on South Weidman Road near Hickory Hedge Drive.

St. Patrick's Day Drunk Driving Crackdown Around St. Louis

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is kicking up enforcement this weekend searching for drunk drivers as St. Patrick's Day celebrations take place around the St. Louis area.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) is warning drivers to "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over." Troopers and other police departments around the St. Louis area will be taking place in enforcing the campaign as St. Patrick's Day festivities take place throughout the area. The MSHP made the announcement in a recent news release. During the period of March 14-17, police are cracking down on drunk driving by conducting DWI saturations in an effort to remove impaired drivers from the road. Impaired driving contributes to nearly 30 percent of all Missouri fatal traffic crashes, the release stated.
