Town and Country police warn of a number of recent thefts and a report of an unidentified man in the area.

Town and Country police sent out an email alert Wednesday warning residents of a number of thefts in close proximity this week. As previously reported by Patch, police were investigating after a computer was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of Cheshire Farm which is off Conway Road just west of Mason Road. That crime happened during the overnight hours of Feb. 9 to Feb. 10. Police are alerting residents that a female was seen tampering with a window to a home Thursday, but left when she noticed a neighbor nearby.

Town and Country police say the perpetrator used a garage door opener in an unlocked car to access more cars in the home's garage.
The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department. A burglary occurred in the 1200 block of Devonworth Drive near Weidman and Clayton roads between 1:00 a.m. and 7:20 a.m., Thursday, police stated in an email alert. Police are asking residents to be on alert after they received a report of a suspicious person Monday morning.
The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department. Police are warning residents to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity after they received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on Sunway Lane, just off Conway Road, Monday morning. According to an email alert issued by police Monday, the driver of a white truck, a middle-aged male, asked the resident if they wanted to purchase some asphalt. The driver then quickly left the area when another resident came out of their house, the alert stated. Police are warning residents of another home burglary. Jewelry was stolen during the hours when many residents are away at work.
The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department. According to an email alert sent out by police, a home in the 100 block of Bon Chateau Drive, near Ladue and Babler roads, was burglarized between 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Forced entry was made into the home through a rear sliding glass door, police stated in the email. The house reportedly has an alarm, but it was not set by the resident. Someone is forcing their way into Town and Country homes during daytime hours when many residents are at work.
The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department. Town and Country Police stated in an email alert that a home was burlgarized in the 900 block of Claymark Drive between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday. Investigators found numerous flatblade pry marks at the door determined to be the point-of-entry, however the thief actually gained entry by breaking glass on the door, reaching in and unlocking it. The entire home was scoured for valuables, according to the email alert.
