The Manchester Board of Aldermen meets Monday night. Aldermen are set to hear more on the request for a special use permit to operate a Penske truck rental location at 14230 Manchester Road. a request to open a Penske truck rental service by the same business owner but at a different location was granted by aldermen after numerous stipulations were added to the agreeement. Business owner Christopher Quail is set to once again be before the board of aldermen to open another location. Aldermen may vote on the issue Monday night. Aldermen will also further discuss offering Manchester residents a one-time confidential document shredding service this fall, plus some upcoming Parkway School District events. Manchester Public Works Department Director Bob Ruck said the City of Manchester will likely hold a confidential document shredding event in the lower parking lot of Schroeder Park on Oct. 13.
