UPDATED: Christmas Snow Coming To St. Louis

Here are five resources you should keep handy as forecasts of snow for the St. Louis area on Tuesday come in.

The National Weather Service forecast for Christmas Day is one Santa will like: "Snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 25. Blustery, with a north wind 15 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%." Snow could continue into noon Wednesday. (Sign up here for the FREE Patch Newsletter, including Breaking News Alerts.) Tuesday morning, KMOV.com is reporting the St. Louis area could receive anywhere from a dusting to two inches of snow. Areas to the south and east are expected to receive between two and five inches of snow. Snow is expected to begin falling around 7 p.m. Tuesday and could last until 3 p.m. Wednesday. NORAD Tracks Santa's Journey Tonight

Follow Santa and see when he will hit West St. Louis County.

The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is charged with keeping the United States and Canada safe from dangers originating from the sky or space. (For instant updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) Tonight, however, the Colorado-based government agency adds one more important task to its daily list of duties. The agency will again provide its Official Santa Tracker that marks the Big Man's every move as he makes his way throughout both hemispheres. Local families will be able to see Santa's progress and be prepared for his arrival in Wentzville.  Included on the site is a countdown and activity page and a flight tracking system. Watch Santa's Official Reindeer Live Feed

Check out Santa's reindeer in the days before they head out to deliver presents.

Kids can take a peek at Santa's reindeer via a live feed at reindeercam.com.  (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) The live camera shows several of Santa's reindeer grazing and hanging out at the North Pole. The reindeer are both male and female. Santa comes out to feed the reindeer everyday at 10 a.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. CST until Dec. 24.  In addition, a sign shows a list of children who are on the "Nice" list. Support Backstoppers With a Holiday Ornament

If you are looking to help a good cause you can help area law enforcement families make it through the holiday season. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) Ornaments for Officers, a local fundraiser is selling new and gently used ornaments, and the proceeds go soley to Backstoppers, which helps the families of police and firefighters who are killed or injured in the line of duty. The goal is to raise $60,000, according to the charity's local website.
