New West County Fire Chief Likely Named This Week
The person who will replace former Fire Chief David Frazier is expected to be announced Thursday.
The West County EMS & Fire Protection District has not had a fire chief since June, when former fire chief David Frazier was "reassigned" from fire chief to deputy chief of logistics. As previously reported by Town and Country - Manchester Patch, Deputy Chief Jeff Sadtler has served as acting fire chief of the district since the change and a search for a new chief got underway.
