The holiday patriarch will make visits to malls in the West County area up until Christmas Eve.
Santa Claus will be making peroidic stops in Chesterfield and the West County area up until Christmas Eve at the Chesterfield Mall and West County Center. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) Families can find Santa from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday in the lower level of Chesterfield Mall in the Dillard's Court. At West County Center, the jolly old elf will be in lower level in the north court. West Newsmagazine is reporting that Santa Claus will also be going high tech this year. Shoppers with smart phones can download the Santa's Fun App, which allows children to write letters to Santa and read his responses. Town and Country police were involved in a police pursuit as authorities tried to catch a van in connection to an alleged robbery at Chesterfield Mall.
UPDATED - Town and Country police were involved in a police pursuit Thursday as authorities tried to catch a car in connection to a reported robbery at Chesterfield Mall. A 24-year-old woman and 21-year-old man were suspects in a shoving incident with a store clerk during a shoplifting attempt. The 24-year-old was detained by police, Chesterfield police said. The 21-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman then apparently fled in a silver Pontiac Montana. Police Captain Gary Hoelzer tells Town and Country - Manchester Patch the pursuit began in Frontenac after the alleged robbery. Town and Country police became involved when the van, with two people inside, moved through Town and Country on northbound Interstate 270. The chase finally ended …

There are many Easter egg hunts for the family to enjoy this weekend with goodies to take home. Plus, Patch readers have to opportunity to touch stingrays, break a Guinness World Record or take in an art show.
EASTER EGG HUNT Where: Registration for the Easter egg hunt is at 11 a.m. and the hunt will begin at noon at Longview Farm Park in Town and Country on Saturday. Why go: Before the egg hunt, kids will be able to make crafts, decorate a bird feeder and receive free tree seedlings. This egg hunt is a fundraiser for the equine therapy at the park, which helps children with physical and mental disabilities interact with and ride the horses kept at Longview Farm Park. The event will be dog friendly with dog treats on hand. Pricing: The cost for the Easter egg hunt is $10 per participant as part of a fundraiser for Longview Equine Therapy.
