Woman Faces Third DWI Charge After Stop In Town and Country

Police said Michelle N. Adams was weaving in her lane on Highway 141 near Interstate 64 when she was pulled over.

A St. Charles woman faces her third driving while intoxicated charge after she was pulled over on Highway 141 at Interstate 64. Michelle N. Adams, 23, of the 2500 block of Leonard Drive in St. Charles, was charged Wednesday with DWI as a persistent offender, a class D felony. She has two previous DWI convictions. Town and Country Police said an officer pulled Adams over at 2:13 a.m. Aug. 26 after seeing her weave onto a shoulder, drive on a white lane line and change lanes without signaling. After pulling her car over, the officer reported Adams smelled like alcohol, and had watery and bloodshot eyes. According to the police report, Adams admitted drinking and did poorly on a sobriety test. A Breathalyzer test indicated her blood-alcohol …

Police Warn Thieves Target More Cars in Town and Country

Town and Country police issued a second email alert this week, warning residents of more thefts from cars in neighborhoods.

The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) Friday, Town and Country police are alerting residents to more thefts from vehicles. Authorities sent out the following details in the second email alert this week regarding such crimes. Town and Country police stated they have taken at least six reports of stealing from unlocked vehicles. The most recent thefts occurred along Ballas and Clayton Roads Wednesday evening into Thursday morning, the email stated. It said Hawthorne Estates, Ballas Woods Court, and Turnberry Park Place were targeted in the latest thefts. "Once again we remind our residents to ensure all vehicles are locked and …

Cars Targeted in Manchester Thefts

Sept. 11: 1000 Block Brandon Park Drive Property Damage: Detectives are investigating a car break-in that also damaged the car that was targeted. Police stated that although the vehicle’s contents were in disarray, nothing was stolen. Sept. 12: 700 Block Auber Drive Stealing: A resident reported both vehicle license plates were stolen from a car. Car Crashes Into Manchester Ulta Store

Manchester police say a driver lost control of her car and drove into the Manchester Ulta store Tuesday night.

The Ulta store in Manchester is open for business Wednesday, after a car came crashing throught its front window Tuesday night. Manchester police say a driver lost control of her car and drove into the Manchester Ulta store around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night. Sgt. Buck Lancey tells Town and Country - Manchester Patch that a woman was driving in the parking lot when she hit the accelerator instead of the brake, struck a pick-up truck and then drove into the store. Police said the woman and her husband, who was sitting in the back seat with the couple's dog, were not injured and refused treatment.  The driver of the pick-up truck was taken to the hospital for treatment, according to investigators.
