Thieves Target Cars in Town and Country Crossing Parking Lot

Town and Country police are alerting residents to recent thefts from cars, including car break-ins at the Town and Country Crossing shopping center.

The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) Town and Country police sent out an email alert warning residents of recent car break-ins, including cars parked at the Town and Country Crossing shopping center. In the email, police stated that small items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the 400 block of Cheshire Farm Lane between 9 p.m., March 27 and 9 a.m., March 28. In addition, police stated that two additional thefts took place from cars in the parking lot of Town and Country Crossing. One between 7 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. on March 20 and the second happened between 10 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. on March 26. Police said …

Thieves Target Vehicles on Manchester Street

Residents report items stolen from their cars on Royal Village Drive, according to police.

Car Break-Ins Land Purse, Electronics in the Hands of Thieves

Police said thieves made off with a purse, a computer and more during recent thefts in Manchester.

Crime Alert: Burglary Prompts Warning to Residents

Town and Country police are warning residents to report any suspicious activity after a burglary Tuesday.

The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department. Police are warning residents to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity after a home was broken into during the day Tuesday. Authorities stated in an email alert that forced entry was made through a rear window of the home in the 3000 block of Thornbury Drive, which is located near Clayton and Bopp roads. Police stated that there is no suspect description, so residents are urged to call police if they see any suspicious people or vehicles. Residents can call 911, or the West Central Dispatch Center at 314 737-4600, if it's not an emergency. Thefts, Scam & Bizarre Break-In Top Manchester Crimes

Thefts, sweepstakes scam and a man with clipboard breaks into a Manchester home while a resident was sleeping.

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. May 3: 600 block of Burwick Terrace Forgery: A resident received a letter stating he won $50,000 in sweepstakes, but first needed to send in $1,900 for alleged "taxes" on his winnings. The man did transfer the money and later realized it was a scam.  May 3: 800 block of Pheasant Woods Drive Stealing: A man reported his car was broken into.  He told police he thought his car was locked, but authorities found no signs of forced entry. Crime Alert: Town and Country Morning Thefts

Town and Country Police are warning residents to lock their doors, especially garage doors.

The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department. Town and Country police are warning residents to lock all exterior doors after three thefts in less than one week. Two of those thefts happened Tuesday morning, Cpt. Gary Hoelzer stated in an email. According to Hoelzer, the three residential burglaries took place in homes bordering Town and Country, between Ballas and Bopp roads. The burglaries are happening between 9 and 10 a.m., and entry is typically made through unlocked garage doors, Hoelzer's email stated. Thefts Prompt Town and Country Police Warning

The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department.

Thefts from cars this week, prompt Town and Country Police to once again warn residents to lock their doors. Captain Gary Hoelzer said in a news release that between 8 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. Monday a theft occurred in a church parking lot in 12900 block of Ladue Road. Hoelzer stated someone broke out the passenger side window of a car parked in the lot and stole a GPS that was mounted on the windshield. Hoelzer said that during the same time frame, another vehicle was broken into in the same manner in the 14300 block of South Outer 40 Road. That vehicle was also parked in a lot and a GPS unit was also taken from the windshield. Hoelzer said police are searching for several individuals for similar crimes in the area. Police Searching For Woman Caught on Target Surveillance Video

Town and Country Police are searching for a woman caught on surveillance video at the Target store in Town and Country Crossing. According to Captain Gary Hoelzer, between 6:55 p.m. and 8:05 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9,  a car was broken into on the parking lot of Parkway United Church of Christ at 2841 N. Ballas Road. Hoelzer said a purse containing credit cards was stolen and one of those stolen credit cards was used at the Town and Country Target store. Included in this article is a surveillance photo of a woman that investigators said allegedly used the stolen credit card.  Police are asking anyone …

Search For Town and Country Burglary Suspect

The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. Town and Country Police are searching for a burglary suspect or suspects who police said broke into a home between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to investigators, a house in the 12900 block of Timmor Court, off of Topping Road, was burglarized after rear French doors were forced open. Police said the the house was ransacked and jewelry and sterling silver were stolen.
