Tessa Vanvlerah, of Ballwin, was sentenced this week for allowing and participating in the rape of her infant daughter, according to the Post-Dispatch and KMOV.
As previously reported by Patch, Tessa Vanvlerah, 22, of the 200 block of Solon Drive in Ballwin pled guilty to charges of sexual assault following allegations that she and an assistant college professor violated the woman's infant daughter. According to KMOV.com Tuesday, a judge sentenced Vanvlerah to two consecutive life prison terms for sexually assaulting her five-month-old daughter along with the California man she met online. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Vanvlerah admitted to repeatedly performing sex acts on her infant daughter and pled guilty to one count each of statutory rape, statutory sodomy and incest. A man who was assaulted in Ballwin, stopped at a Town and Country gas station for help Thursday night.
According to Town and Country police, they got the call around 9:25 p.m. of a person in need of help at the Phillips 66 gas station near the intersection of Woods Mill and Clayton roads. Police tell Patch the man said he was a victim of an assault in Ballwin and Ballwin police did arrive on the scene to investigate. "It's there investigation now," Corporal Chris Moore told Town and Country -Manchester Patch Thursday night. Moore said an ambulance did arrive on the scene and he believed the apparent assault victim was taken the hospital, but he was not sure which one. No word on on the victims's condition as of late Thursday night.

A mother and her three children found shot to death in apparent murder-suicide attended St. Joseph Church in Manchester. The pastor of that church and the family have issued statements, but funeral arrangements will not be released.
UPDATED 7:15 p.m., Monday- The Archdiocese of Saint Louis tells Patch Christine Adewunmi, 37, and her three children Kate, 3, Samantha, 6, and Lauren, 8, were members of the St. Joseph parish in Manchester. The church is located just south of Manchester Road off Sulphur Spring Road. The Archdiocese also confirms the children were involved in the St. Joseph Athletic Association.
