Manchester Resident Victim of Credit Card Fraud

Police report someone tried to use a woman's credit card for an online purchase, plus a bad check was written at a Manchester restaurant.

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. (Sign up here for the FREE Patch Newsletter, including Breaking News Alerts.) Dec. 13: 600 block Big Bend Road Bad Check: A local restaurant reported receiving a bad check. Police report it was written on an account with insufficient funds.   Dec. 13: 500 block Braebridge Road  Fraudulent Use of a Credit Devise: A resident told police her credit card number was fradulently used by someone who tried to purchase merchandise online.  Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to contact the Manchester Police Department at 636-527-9200. Manchester Businesses Targeted By Thieves

Bad checks, missing money and shoplifting all reported to Manchester police in recent crime reports.

Nov. 2: 200 block Highlands Boulevard Drive Stealing: Police were called to the Manchester Highlands Walmart after staff reported a man concealing items and leaving the store. Police arrested one person.
