Parkway Central's Jake Bushman Named Patch Athlete of the Week

Bushman and the Parkway Central football team get back on the field Friday when they travel to district-rival Parkway West.

Congratulations to Jake Bushman, who was named this week's Patch Athlete of the Week.  Bushman, a senior running back on the Parkway Central High School football team, turned up big in Parkway Central's 49-7 shalacking of Seckman by scoring three touchdowns. Bushman needed just six touches to amass 18 points — he had five rushes for 58 yards and two scores and one reception that went for a 55-yard touchdown.  Bushman narrowly eaked out Connor Harrison of De Smet. Bushman also received more votes than Parkway North's Roosevelt Abram and the entire Parkway South defensive squad. Bushman and the Parkway Central football team get back on the field Friday when they travel to district-rival Parkway West. Congratulations to all of this week's …
