Arts & Education Council Grants Available for West County Teachers
Stemming from a large donation from Maritz, local teachers can apply for new grants ranging from $500 to $5,000. Deadline is Sept. 7—spread the creative word!
Arts and Education Council representatives will accept applications for the Maritz Arts and Education Fund for Teachers until Friday, Sept. 7. Grants will be made only for programs that take place from Oct. 15, 2012 to June 14, 2013 in the 16-county, bi-state St. Louis metropolitan region: Arts and Education Council managers recently announced they had received a $30,000 donation from Maritz to fund the third year of the highly successful and award-winning Maritz Arts and Education Fund for Teachers.
