This location houses the Missouri Department of Transportation's (MoDOT)  Transportation Management Center. It's the command center where traffic cameras are monitored twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The Department monitors and reports traffic accidents in an effort to get emergency responders on the scene as quickly as possible. This is where the highway speed censors are monitored. Highway digital message boards are also monitored and updated with traffic information .

Customer service staff also works out of this location where they answer MoDOT's customer service line (888-ASK-MoDOT/888-275-6636/314-275-1500) around the clock.  Callers can report signal malfunctions and potholes and check work zones and weather conditions.
