Manchester City Hall sits right off of busy Manchester Rd. in the historic Lyceum building. Built in 1894, the building has held stores, stables, a movie theater and even a skating rink. Pictures of the building's history line the walls of City Hall.
When visitors walk in they are greeting by a friendly staff who truly seems dedicated to helping the 19,161 residents of Manchester.
City leaders are very proud of Manchester's history, some of which can be seen by visiting the Henry Avenue Historic District, just up Manchester Rd. from City Hall.
Mayor David L. Wilson heads up the city, but is technically only a part-time mayor.
