The Kiener Plaza Fountain turns pink for the 14th Annual Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure. As local presenting sponsor of the 2012 Komen St. Louis Race, Wells Fargo Advisors joined the Komen St. Louis Affiliate on June 15 for the official kick-off of 2012 Komen St. Louis Race Week. 

The American Red Cross is hosting a free workplace seminar June 20, designed to help employers prepare for disasters and emergencies. The goal is to show how the Red Cross can make it easy to create a safer and better prepared workplace while protecting employees. The St. Louis Surge Women’s Semi-Professional Basketball honors all fathers on Father’s Day during their fourth home game of the 2012 season against the Illinois Shooting Stars Sunday. All fathers who attend home game four will be admitted for half price at a cost of $4. 

Cinema St. Louis and The Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts invite St. Louis-area filmmakers to project their imaginations on the Pulitzer’s world-renowned building by creating short silent films that reflect key elements (domestic spaces and/or moments of epiphany) of the In the Still Epiphany exhibit. 

On Tuesday, June 19 and Wednesday, June 20, local Geek Squad agents and St. Louis-based Best Buy employees will be visiting with members of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis to empower St. Louis middle- and high-school level girls and boys. The Geek Squad Summer Academy program, now in its 6th year.
