Say Arrivederci to Chamber Intern from Italy

Friday wad the last day of Edoardo Pricolo's internship with the West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce. He will return home to Italy to resume his studies of business.

West St. Louis County residents said ciao as hello to earlier this summer and now also as goodbye. Patch readers first learned in July about Pricolo's special summer internship for the West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce.

"This was my first work experience, and I will miss the friendly people," he said at the chamber's monthly membership meeting Wednesday. "I love America. Maybe one day I'm going to move in here."

After Pricolo gets back to Milan, he said he will start back to college in 10 days.

He said the chamber of commerce in Italy is very different compared to the one serving West St. Louis County, in that it's older and more established. "In the U.S., the chamber is more about how people connect and network. Back home, there's more of a focus on projects and money."

Best of luck and thanks to Pricolo for blogging for Patch!
