High school football workouts and try-outs are about to kick into high gear in St. Louis, following a "dead week" off from any practices.
Principia High School, home of the Panthers, is setting to take the field for the team's first game of the season Aug. 30.
Coming off a 3-6 season last year, here's a look at the varsity Panthers' 2013 season schedule. Home games are in bold:
- Aug. 30 at Lutheran (St. Peters), 7 p.m.
- Sept. 7 vs. John F. Kennedy, 1 p.m.
- Sept. 14 vs. Van-Far with Community, 1 p.m.
- Sept. 21 vs. Clopton with Elsberry, 1 p.m.
- Sept. 28 at Missouri Military Academy, 2:30 p.m.
- Oct. 12 at Lutheran North, 1 p.m.
- Oct. 19 vs. Brentwood, 2 p.m.
- Oct. 25 at Cuba, 7 p.m.
