The Westminster Wildcats played their first games this weekend on their new football field.

The Westminster Wildcats played their first games this weekend on their brand new football field. The varsity team beat Wheaton Academy 27-14 Friday night and junior varsity beat Wheaton's JV team Saturday morning 20-0.

The Westminster Wildcats start the season at a new school, with a new coach, new athletic director and new state-of-the-art facilities, including the 2,000-seat football stadium.

Westminster spokesperson Michelle Burke said that, up until now, the Westminster football team has never had a home stadium.
