Two Openings on Parkway School Board

The Parkway Board of Education has two director positions open for the April 2012 election.

The Parkway Board of Education has two director positions open for the April 2012 election. 

The terms of Helen Casteel and Beth Feldman expire in April, opening up the positions. Both can file for re-election. Both openings are three-year terms.

Candidate filing begins at 8 a.m. Dec. 13 and continues through 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012.

Parkway Board of Education candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • At least 24 years old
  • Be a resident taxpayer of the Parkway School District
  • Have or will have resided in Missouri for one year prior to the April 3, 2012 election

Applicants should also provide a biography of 200 words or less and a recent photo at the time of filing. This information will be released to media and used in Parkway publications.

Candidates must file in person at the , located at 455 N. Woods Mill Rd. in Chesterfield. Filing can be done at that location from 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Filing hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m on Jan 17, the last day of filing.

Names will appear on the ballot in the order the candidates file.
