Christian Brothers College High School senior, Ethan Suntrup, from Town and Country, MO, has been selected to participate in the 2012 U.S. Naval Academy's Summer Seminar program in Annapolis, MD. Each year, the U.S. Naval Academy invites a select group of 2,250 young men and women from across the nation and abroad to attend the summer seminar. 

Workers have put down the first strips of artificial turf at  W. Michael Ross Stadium '66 and Klemm Field.The "Championship Field" project began in mid-May and will continue through July 2012. 

Ex’Treme Institute by Nelly and music industry professionals knows the best way to encourage a youngster’s love for the arts is to make learning fun and exciting.  Instructors teach students the impact that dance, art, beat making, recording, photography, drama, video, voice, and instruments can make on an audience.  First sessions begin this month. The Shoes For Life Drive wants your shoes to help provide fresh drinking water to developing countries. The Shoeman Water Projects, a non-profit charity, is partnering with Kingdom Seeds Outreach to collect shoes and turn them into clean drinking water. 

Over 1,500 volunteers are needed to position themselves outside of 90+ grocery stores throughout the St. Louis area to ask shoppers to donate food as they shop on Saturday July 28. This is a great volunteer opportunity for a church group, corporate group or for the kids to get involved.
