Parkway South Senior Aces ACT
Parkway South senior Bradley Gleason received the highest possible score on his ACT exam, according to the Parkway School District.

Bradley Gleason, a Parkway South High School senior, recently learned he scored a 36 -- the highest possible score -- on the ACT college admissions and placement exam.

Nationally, while the actual number of students earning a composite score of 36 varies from year to year, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of students who take the ACT earn a top score of 36. In 2011, more than 1.6 million students took the ACT exam.
The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science. Each test is scored on a scale of 1-36, and a student’s composite score is the average of four test scores. The ACT test assesses high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work.

ACT test scores are accepted by all major U.S. colleges, and exceptional scores of 36 provide colleges with evidence of student readiness for the academic rigors that lie ahead.
