Old Trails Historical Society Program: The Civil War in Missouri

The Civil War in Missouri will be the topic of a program by Marc Kollbaum, curator of Jefferson Barracks Historic Park, on Wednesday, March 23, at 7 P.M., at the Community Room of West County EMS and Fire Station, 223 Henry Avenue in Manchester, Missouri.  This year marks the sesquicentennial of the Civil War.  The public is invited to come hear about Jefferson Barracks, Missouri battles and generals, the new Civil War Museum, and more.  This free program is sponsored by Old Trails Historical Society, a non-profit organization that maintains the Bacon Log Cabin as a museum of local history.
