Green Speaker Series

Please come to another in the series of presentations sponsored by Town & Country's Green Team Commission.

Geothermal energy is green, renewable and carbon friendly because it comes from the heat retained within the earth.  It has been used for heating since ancient Roman times.  Today it can be used to generate electricity and, with a geothermal heat pump, for cooling as well.  Joel Sigman, of award-winning Sigman Heating and Air Conditioning, will give a presentation on geothermal heating and cooling -- how it works, its practicality, affordability, and efficiency.  If time permits, he will review recently installed projects in our area, including a brief discussion of the design of and production from these systems.

The presentation will last about 45 minutes, followed by about 15 minutes of Q&A.  This event is free and open to the public.
