There’s a Sweet Side to Life … Even with Diabetes

Join Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital experts as they discuss America’s fasting growing disease … diabetes. While diabetes has no cure, it can be properly managed through healthy lifestyle choices and a commitment to control blood sugar. Individuals, 18 and older, with a diagnosis of Type II diabetes are encouraged to take part in this program.

“Ask the Doctor” with Linda Therkildsen, DO, family medicine

6:30-7:15 p.m.
“Diabetes 101” with Bibi Hasnain, MD, endocrinology

7:15-8 p.m.
“A Heart to Heart about Diabetes” with Maureen Falcone, RN, BSN, coordinator, Chest Pain Center
