Catching Up With The St. Louis Cardinals

Town and Country's Maryville University is holding a panel discussion on the St. Louis Cardinals Wednesday. The public is invited to attend and learn about the team's past and the upcoming 2013 season.

Maryville University released the details of the panel discussion in the following news release.

Maryville University invites you to look ahead to what 2013 will bring for the St. Louis Cardinals and to relive the excitement of the past World Series playoff season. The University's Sport Business Management Program and Rawlings Sporting Goods are co-sponsoring a spirited discussion about the upcoming season and a chance to learn more about the business of baseball.

At Catching Up with the Cardinals, panelists will take part in a discussion about what's next for the team. A panel discussion will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16 in the Maryville University Auditorium, located at 650 Maryville University Drive. The event is free and open to the public.

The panel discussion will be moderated by KMOX Sports Director Tom Ackerman, with panelists St. Louis Cardinals Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Dan Farrell; St. Louis Cardinals Director of Ticket Sales and Services Rob Fasoldt and St. Louis Cardinals Ticket Direct Sales Representative Chuck Kuchar, ‘09. Fasoldt serves on Maryville’s Sport Business Management Advisory Board. Senior Matt Pierson, a Sport Business Management major, will introduce the panelists.
