Traffic Ahead: West County Road Closures This Weekend

The will suspend all downtown work this weekend but some lanes will be closed in West and South counties. 

All scheduled work zones will resume on Monday.

In West County:

• One lane on I-40 will be closed from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. between the Spirit of St. Louis to Chesterfield Airport roads for sign installations on Thursday and Monday.
• Monday through Wednesday, two lanes on I-270 will be closed over Bellefontaine Road.

In South County:

• One lane will be closed westbound on Interstate 44 at the Meramec River from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday.
• MoDOT will be doing westbound right shoulder work on the JB Bridge on Thursday, Friday and Monday through Thursday.

In St. Charles:

There’s going to be eastbound shoulder work between Fifth Street and the Earth City Expressway from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Monday through Wednesday.
