Town and Country Arrests Get Man 60 Months in Prison

Robert Page of Massachusetts has been sentenced in connection with a case that involved the theft of credit cards and arrests at a Town and Country health club.

A Massachusetts man was sentenced Wednesday to five years in prison for  investigated by the , the  and the U.S. Secret Service.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Missouri made the announcement in a news release.

Robert Page, 48, also will have to pay $38,000 in restitution. The Fall River, MA, resident is suspected of having traveled to St. Louis several times in 2010 to take credit cards from health club lockers, court documents referenced in the release state. He pleaded guilty to credit card fraud and conspiracy to commit credit card fraud in December.

His co-defendants are Jonathan Vendituoli and Kevin Cooney. They were arrested in February 2011 at the Wellbridge Health Club in Town and Country after an off-duty Clayton detective spotted them. made the arrests.

At the time, Chief Tom Byrne of the Clayton police said the  at Clayton's  and were likely trying to do the same at the Town and Country location. The three are suspected of having used the cards to buy electronics at places such as Best Buy.
