The board will also be introduced to the city's new Assistant Code Enforcement Officer Gray Tetley. The new hire came after board members discussed the need for the extra code enforcement.

Ward 1 Alderman Paul Hamill expressed concern in June about  weekend city code enforcement. Hamill said he had received several emails from residents with complaints about trash violations, grass violations and an abundance of retailer business signs. Moreover, he also said it was previously approved in the city budget to hire a part- time person to enforce city code. Board members decided to move forward with hiring a part-time person.

Board members will also discuss once again the city's participation in the Community Development Block Grant Program.
